Who They help

Project Healing Waters helps active military service personnel and Veterans in need through a dedicated, developed curriculum of fly fishing, fly casting, fly tying, and fly rod building. In 2023 alone, they helped 6,056 participants comprised of all service eras through the generous work of 6,458 active volunteers.

How They help

They are a leading nonprofit in the area of therapeutic outdoor recreation, using the sport of fly fishing as an intervention. The restorative healing powers of nature and the outdoors are well-documented: for their Veteran and military participants, the Camaraderie, Connectedness, and community found in their programs, alongside the symbiotic relationship between veteran and volunteer, directly correlates to increased sense of belonging, resilience, and post traumatic growth.

We are currently working with ClimatePartner to determine how we can offset some of the carbon emissions relating to our events. Our plan is to purchase carbon credits to go towards climate projects world-wide that reduce, avoid, or remove greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere. Some project examples include: development of renewable energies, forest protection or reforestation, social impact projects such as clean cooking stoves or drinking water, or other technologies.

Rally Navigation Training Services, founded by rally expert Graham Raeburn, is dedicated to helping newcomers to the sport understand and enjoy their participation in rallying. Graham Raeburn brings over 30 years of experience in the rallying world as a competitor and organiser, to ensure new competitors are prepared to confidently tackle routes and enjoy the thrill of rallying. Training is available through downloadable products and online webinars, making high-quality instruction accessible to enthusiasts worldwide.
